Peter has extensive experience in successful exploration for greenfield, brownfield and in-mine mineral systems around the world including porphyry, orogenic and epithermal gold, skarns and IOCG deposits. He has also been intimately involved in the development of new global exploration techniques and workflows.
He was formerly Chief Geophysicist and Manager of Geoscience Technology for WMC Resources and a founding member of Independence Group Limited where he developed high powered electromagnetic applications that led to the discovery of more than 75,000t nickel at the Victor Long Nickel Mine in Kambalda.
He was a co-founder of international resource sector intelligence company Intierra and also HiSeis, the world’s first dedicated hard rock mineral seismic company. In West Africa, he was involved in the target identification and acquisition of multi-million ounce gold deposits including Wahgnion and Batie in Burkina Faso and Fekola in Mali.
Peter is an Adjunct Professor of the Centre for Exploration Targeting at the University of Western Australia
Peter was the first Manager of WMC Geoscience technology before he became a founding member of Independence Group Limited, in 2000, which is now A $2.7 bn+.
Peter co-founded the International Resource Sector Intelligence company, Intierra which has been developed into the S&P Capital IQ Pro platform , co-founded the first hard rock mineral seismic company in the world, HiSeis; the Gold geochemistry disruptor company, Portable PPB, and the geophysical technology company, RoqSense.
Peter is a non-executive Director of Alderan Resources (ASX:AL8), African Gold (ASX:A1G) Benz Mining (ASX:BNZ) and ElementalAltus Royalties (TSX-V:ELE).
Dr Serge J Nitiema is an exploration geologist, mining investor and founder of exploration and development companies with exploration and advanced projects located in Africa, Australia and Canada, looking for gold, base metals, iron ore, bauxite and diamonds.
Serge Nitiema holds a PhD in Structural Geology Applied to Mineral Exploration from the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, Senegal (1992) and is an interned of the laboratory of Tectonophysics and Structural Geology of the Universite Paul Sabatier de Toulouse, France. He is currently based in Johannesburg (RSA) and also author of several scientific publications.
He is recently joined the African Green Mining Investment Fund as Partner. Serge is the co-founder of GenGold Capital Resources Pty Limited shareholder of , Arrow Minerals Limited in Burkina Faso and Guinea (www.arrowminerals.co.au) and Non-Executive Director of Rock Wealth Discovery in Toronto with early-stage and Advanced Exploration projects in Guinea (www.rockwealthdiscovery.com), co-founder Of Predictive Discovery, which held a portfolio of Early Stage and Advanced Exploration Gold Assets.
Francois Martens is an exploration geologist with over 40 years of expertise in exploration, mining, project management and resource development across Africa. Skilled in overseeing large-scale mining operations, resource estimation, geological investigations, and strategic planning. Strong background in securing funding, leading technical teams, and negotiating with government officials. Proven track record in turning around struggling operations, designing efficient exploration plans, and optimizing resource extraction.
Currently Francois is a director of CAPMED which overseeing mining projects and exploration activities across Africa, specializing in health insurance and alternative medicine alongside mining initiatives.
Founder and director of Mabex consulting which managed exploration projects in various African countries (Zambia, Mozambique, Chad), including overseeing significant gold and diamond mines. Led the acquisition of Mabex by CAPMED Holdings Ltd.
A group geologist in 2010 managing geological and mining activities in Zambia and Mozambique, focusing on manganese, gold, and other commodities.
Director and Consultant, Leala Mining in South Africa. He played a key role in securing $478M in funding for the acquisition of 12 mining projects.
In 2005 Francois was the country exploration manager, African Precious Minerals directing large-scale exploration programs in Mozambique, discovering new gold-bearing reefs and achieving significant resource estimations. Managed a team of 175 workers and oversaw major logistical operations.
